Description
The KAD works because it addresses the underlying problem to relieve the symptoms of the pain. There two of the more prominent causes of pain in the knee joint are bone on bone contact and stretching of the soft tissue (tendons, ligaments, muscles) due to bowing of the leg at the knee joint. The KAD addresses both of these causes of pain by holding the upper and lower leg stationary and pushing the knee joint back towards its natural position.
- Reduces the stretching of soft tissue caused by bowing
- Creates a larger gap between the femur and tibia bones reducing bone on bone contact
- Eliminates the pinching pain by reduces inflammation, irritation, and swelling
- Decreases unnatural positional stress of ligaments within the knee joint
The realignment of the leg/knee creates a more natural gait of the effected leg reducing stress and strain on the opposite leg and back.
